Welcome Heather!

I would love to introduce you to my sister, Heather! She is joining us in our trek to meditate and hide God's Word in our hearts! Let's warmly welcome her!
Bill (in the back), Will & Heather Swan

I have had the privilege of knowing Heather for the last 37 years and adore her and asked her to give you a glimpse into her life:

God has richly blessed my life with my husband, Bill, our four-year-old son, Will, my sister, Yvonne and her family, as well as the rest of our family. When we are participating in a "family" memory time, such as during the summer, I stay on track and I am challenged by what Will memorizes. The rest of the time, I have a difficult time memorizing on a regular basis, so I am looking forward to accountability of this group as well as the "marinating" in the Word while I memorize. Thank you in advance for your encouragement!

Feel free to ask her more questions in the comment section.

Sorry it's taken me so long to welcome you to this group.Your sister and I met on a plane from Fresno to D/FW and my life changed the moment she sat down beside me. So glad you are with us.

It will be such a pleasure to get to know each of you better as we meditate on His Word! It has been a while since I have been to the blog as I was on a road trip to TX (and drove through FW.) Thank you for the welcome!

There are so many memories, but one that pops to mind is the night that Yvonne and I shared a twin sized bed. I had come home for homecoming during her senior year of high school (she was on the homecoming court) and she wanted us to sleep in the same bed. It will always be a fun memory since I do not think we had ever done that before in a twin-sized bed...or since...or maybe ever, since we did not get much sleep :) I was on the outside edge and nearly fell off all night and was lacking a bit in the blanket department. I am so blessed that she is my sister!
